School Transport Driver and Caretaker in Partille Municipality

As a school transport driver with us, you will play a central role in ensuring students' safety and comfort on their way to and from school. You will meet students from primary school, adapted primary school, and adapted upper secondary school, many with special needs. Your tasks include:

• Safe school transport: Transport students to and from their schools around Partille with care and safety.
• Efficient time management: Follow fixed schedules to ensure that students arrive on time at their schools.
• Varied work: In addition to school transport, you will have caretaking tasks and participate in workplace meetings.

You will work daily with tasks related to school transport and caretaking, where the organization of the workday can vary and deviations from the basic schedule may sometimes occur. This position requires flexibility and a readiness to step in where needs arise. It is important that you enjoy a dynamic schedule and are open to different types of tasks. Working hours range between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Friday. In school transport, we work with split shifts, which means you work both in the morning and afternoon, with a few hours off in the middle of the day.

In the caretaking role, you will actively work with our case management system where all orders and reports of issues come in. This may involve simple carpentry, painting, locks and alarms, fire safety checks, moving furniture, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a B driver's license. For the role, we see that you are a handy person with good knowledge for tasks within caretaking. You also need to have good computer skills to manage the case management system in caretaking and to share information through the channels used by our drivers. If you have experience working with children with special needs, we consider that an advantage. Likewise, good local knowledge of Partille Municipality is beneficial. Since the role often requires clear communication, we are looking for someone with good knowledge of the Swedish language.
